The 36” Side Shift Trencher is designed for trenches through all soil conditions effectively up to 36”. Ideally the 36” trenching depth which is further adjustable based on Heavy-Duty Boom and Crumber system is useful for cutting narrow straight trenches prior to laying electrical, telephone, and cable lines, irrigation pipe laying, and road repairs. The trencher uses eight carbide steel alloy teeth for rocky and gravel trenching and 21 alloy carbide wear resistant edge cup teeth for general soil trenching. This trencher has a universal mounting plate and a hydraulic flow requirement of 21-29GPM which makes it compatible with most skid steers. The trencher comes with a heavy gauge cumber and chain carriage with three booms, adjustable oversized skid or shoe which allows the operator to maintain the consistent depth of 36”. The large scraper shoe with built-in springs maintains the loose soil that is clawed back into the chain to discharge and keep the trenched area clean. It has four manual side shift positions, adjustable chain tension, and three hydraulic hoses. The attachment comes complete and ready to use with hydraulic hoses pre-installed with 1/2” flat-faced quick connect couplers. 1/2” hydraulic hoses for In and Out and 3rd hose for Case drain line provided for releasing motor pressure.
